About - Panthers Field Hockey Club

Panthers filed hockey club founded by Mota Singh Dhaliwal in Oct. 19, 1976. It was started with 2nd division teams.

  • In 1977 we won second division and entered in primer division.
  • 1988 two teams in primer division.
  • 1985 team toured to UK.
  • 1990 one team was in primer division and one team in second division.
  • 2000 two teams - one in competitive division, one in recreational division.
  • 2008 we were in competitive, we were in second in play off.
  • 2009 Won Vancouver language in competitive division.
  • Phoenix (USA) Participated in tournament  from Jan 30th - Jan 31st, 2010
  • Dallas (USA) - April 10th - 11th Played tournament. 2nd Place
  • Calgary (Canada) - May 8th - 9th Participated in tournament.

In early 1970 Mota Singh dhaliwal represented senior BC team and won national championship.

1980s Karamjeet Singh Ghuman represented BC team for National championship.

Mid 90s represented BC team for National Championship 

Youth program stared by Harjinder Singh Basra in September 2009 with 40 junior players under U/10 and 12 boys and girls.

In 2009 Indian National team played two nations tournament in Surrey BC. Panther’s field hockey club hosted dinner for them and recognized each player and official staff.
